By Abhik Sengupta: The Infinix GT 10 Pro, which some refer to as the Nothing Phone (1) lookalike, has finally been launched in India after much anticipation. The new smartphone boasts a semi-transparent design, reminiscent of the Nothing Phone, though it lacks embedded LED lights on the back. Instead, there are tiny strips of lights near the rear camera module, which technically serve no functional purpose and are purely decorative, mainly to enhance gaming aesthetics. Infinix claims that its new smartphone is primarily aimed at gamers.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro carries a price tag of Rs 19,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is nice to see that many smartphone brands are now introducing a 256GB storage unit for their smartphones under Rs 20,000. Recently, Xiaomi offered a similar storage variant of their new Redmi 12 5G. Its pre-booking starts on August 4, while the sale commences on August 15 through Flipkart.

Meanwhile, the Infinix GT 10 Pro comes in cyber black and mirage silver colour options. The Cyber Black model comes with bright orange highlights, while the Mirage Silver has a color-changing design that displays steel blue and dusty pink hues when exposed to UV light.

Infinix has partnered with Axis Bank to provide easy finance options. Flipkart users can also avail sale offers including no-cost EMI to reduce the price of the device.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro boasts a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has super slim bezels to enhance the gaming and content viewing experience. Infinix claims the display has a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio. On the rear side of the device, the triple camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel cameras. The front includes a 32-megapixel camera inside the hole-punch cutout. The smartphone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There's also a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support.

Other key features of the Infinix GT 10 Pro include 5G, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi, and USB OTG support that could be useful to connect gamepads. There's also a 3.5mm audio jack, which is slowly becoming uncommon even among smartphones in this price range.

Another interesting feature of the phone is the box. It is customizable and can be transformed into a speaker. This audio experience is likely to attract many gamers looking for something different and exciting on their smartphones.
